What's up y'all? It's Aurea back here once again. As June is about to end, my internship is also coming close, so here's a couple of goals I would like to achieve:
1. Become a better researcher & contributor.
A couple of the only times I've become closest to become a researcher is during my Biology and Chemistry class in high school. Now, I'm about to use these skills I began developing in our classroom lab and use them in real life. I definitely want the work that I do to become meaningful.
2. Meet new people.
I think that this internship can create something beyond a publication journal. Perhaps, it could also become a breeding ground to make connections and meet new people. For a good chunk of my summer, I will be with these people and I think it's important that I get to know them pretty well. I bet that there are so many cool people in my lab who are researching all these amazing stuff about the environment and creating new technologies, so I want to keep up with them even after this summer.
3. Find a passion.
Perhaps during this time, I could find something new about myself, like what I want to do, or what specific things I would like to research more. At the same time, I could also learn about the things that I don't really want to do. Maybe, I'm not that interested in air quality, but perhaps the questions that I'll have from this internship will open doors to new researches for me.
Well, that's all I have for today folks. Til next time!
